Veritone Deploys At College Football Playoffs
Costa Mesa-based Veritone says its artificial intelligence software was deployed for the 2019 College Football Playoff (CFP) National Championship, and was used to produce transcriptions, automated facial recognition of players and coaches, logo identification, and other tasks for the CFP's Media Day. Financial details of the deployment were not announced. According to Veritone, the use of its software allow the CFP to to make Media Day press conference clips and images available for search and immediate download within minutes of delivery. Veritone said that, as a result of the successful deployment, the CFP has already signed the company to provide its software for the 2020 season.
