Two Bit Circus Foundation Launches STEAM Benefit Event
The Two Bit Circus Foundation, the nonprofit arm of micro-amusement park operator Two Bit Circus, says it has launched a new effort to raise funding for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) programs to youth, called the Anti-Gala. The new event, which is being sponsored by Vans, will be held at the Two Bit Circus "micro-amusement park" in downtown Los Angeles on October 14th. The event is being tied into a fundraising effort by Vans, where proceeds from the sale of Vans Checkerboard products around the world, up to $1 million, will be donated in support of Imagination.org, powered by Two Bit, in order to further foster and fund creativity and entrepreneurship in children around the world. Two Bit Circus Foundation said the effort is a combination of LA Makerspace, Imagination.org, Trash for Teaching, and STEAM Carnival.
