TP-LINK Behind New Google Wi-Fi Router
San Dimas-based TP-LINK, the Southern California networking products maker, is behind the launch of the new, Google OnHub Wi-Fi router this morning--Google's answer to difficult to use, Wi-Fi equipment. Google and TP-LINK said this morning that its new OnHub device is managed by a mobile app developed by the two companies, and is designed to sit out in the open to provide fast Wi-Fi connections, and features a circular antenna design and software to optimize Wi-Fi connections. The router also features automatic software and security updates and more. The two said the router starts pre-orders today for $199.99.
