TheBouqs.com Launches New App
Online flower delivery startup The Bouqs Company, which is based in Los Angeles, announced today that it has launched a brand new app, which allows customers to send flowers directly from their smartphone or tablet to friends, colleages, and others. According to the company, the new app runs on both iOS and Android platforms, and provides "two click" sending of its farm-direct flowers to anyone you want. TheBouqs said the key feature of the app is the two-click sending, which uses a user's flower preferences and relationship status to enable that quick ordering ability--keeping track of if you've sent flowers before to your wife, or your mother, and things like birthdays and anniversaries.
TheBouqs, which is led by John Tabis, already has a service which helps its customers keep up with birthdays, anniversaries, and other major occasions and automaticlaly sends flowers for you--and even will randomly send flowers to the person of your choice on a pre-set frequency. That service--its Concierge Service--has been available for some time, but also is accessible from the new apps. TheBouqs is venture backed by Quest Ventures, Siemer Ventures, Sienna Ventures, and angels.
