Sonos Ties Into Amazon Cloud Player
Sonos, the developer of wireless, whole-home audio systems which stream music from the Internet or your computer, has further extended its music service support to Amazon Cloud Player, the cloud music service of Amazon.com. Amazon and Sonos said this morning that customers of Amazon's cloud music system can now stream their entire collection of music to the Sonos Wireless HiFi System. Amazon is the latest, Internet-based music service to connect into the Sonos system, which now has connections into dozens of online music services. Amazon's cloud music service allows consumers to store their entire music collection online, including both tracks acquired at Amazon, as well as those uploaded by users to the service. Amazon said that its customers have been asking the company to add Sonos to the list of compatible Cloud Player devices ever since the service was launched.
