Sonos-Amazon Link Comes With Bonus: $10 For MP3s
If you are user of the Sonos wireless music systems, check your email. Sonos and Amazon.com announced a deal this morning which allows Sonos users to stream their music from Amazon's Cloud Music Player service, Amazon's cloud music storage service--which competes directly with Apple's iCloud online music and media storage service. To help announce the deal, Sonos sent out a $10 coupon for MP3s at Amazon.com to users in an email this morning, to help add some music to their library. Sonos has been steadily connecting its wireless music systems to nearly every Internet-based, music streaming service available; the deal with Amazon is just the latest for the company's Internet-connected, smartphone-savvy systems, which allow users to play music from their computer or the Internet in any room in their house, all controlled via either an Android or iPhone app, or a dedicated controller.
