PeerStreet Finds $29.5M For Real Estate Lending Marketplace
Los Angeles-based online real estate lending marketplace PeerStreet, founded by Brew Johnson, Brett Crosby, and Alex Perelman, said on Thursday that it has raised $29.5M in a Series B funding round. The funding was led by World Innovation Lab, and also included Andreessen Horowitz, Thomvest, Colchis Capital, Felicis Ventures, plus new investors, Solon Mack and Navitas Capital. PeerStreet, which says it so far has funded over $900M in loans, helps investors find real estate investment opportunities. The company said the new funding will go to both new hires, as well as a broadening of the types of real estate loans it handles.
