Payscout Buys Paywire

Sherman Oak-based Payscout, a provider of payment processing services, said on Thursday that it has acquired cloud and mobile software developer Paywire. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Paywire develops software which integrates payment processing with third party systems, web sites, hardware, SAP systems, and processors. payscout is led by CEO and co-founder Cleveeland Brown. Payscout said the acquisition will provide its customers with expanded payment processing technology, including solutions for the education and healthcare industries.
