Ixia to Acquire Anue Systems For $145M
Calabasas-based network testing equipment provider Ixia said Monday morning that it has agreed to buy Anue Systems, a developer of network monitoring and test products, in a deal worth $145M in cash. Ixia said that Anue had 2011 revenues of $40.5M, with revenues of $47.6M in the twelve months ended March 31, 2012. Ixia said the acquisition will help it become a "leading player" in the network visibility market. Ixia was advised by Stifel Nicolaus Weisel and Bryan Cave LLP in the deal; Anue was advised by MHT Partners and Vinson & Elkins.
