Ixia Bumps Estimates As Acquisitions Grow
Ixia, the developer of network testing hardware and software, said this morning that it has bumped its revenue guidance for the fourth quarter of 2012, and now expects its revenues to be between $123.5M and $124.5M. The publicly held company said that the fourth quarter combined revenues for its two recent acquisitions, Anue Systems and BreakingPoint Systems, will be in the range of $30 to $31M, versus an earlier guidance of $26 to $28M for those two businesses. Ixia has been in a very acquisitive mode in the last year, as it picked up both Anue Systems and BreakingPoint Systems as it looks to grow the company. Ixia is headed by Vic Alston.
