Ixia Announces Results
Calabasas-based Ixia announced first quarter results yesterday, saying that the firm earned $489,000 on revenues of $38.9M. The year to year growth was essentially flat, up 1 percent from the similar period last year. The company said that the first quarter was a challenging one, but that it signed up over 70 new customers and had strong results in China and India. The company also said that it has over $203M in cash in the bank. The firm has made a number of acquisitions in recent months, including Dilithium Networks, a maker of video testing tools, and Communications Machinery Corp., a developer of wireless test products. Ixia develops networking test equipment and software.
