FreedomPop Gets Funding From Intel Capital
Los Angeles-based free broadband wireless and phone provider FreedomPop has received an investment from Intel Capital, the venture capital arm of Intel, as part of a set of investments announced by Intel on Tuesday. Intel--which announced the investment in San Diego as part of its Intel Capital Global Summit--also showed off Two Bit Circus, the Los Angeles STEM learning and entertainment company led by Brent Bushnell, one of its existing portfolio companies. Size of the investment in FreedomPop was not announced.
