Faraday Future Sued By Visual Effects Firm Over Unpaid Bills
Los Angeles-based electric vehicle developer Faraday Future is being sued for $1.8 million, by visual effects company The Mill Group, over unpaid bills, according to a lawsuit filed in the Superior Court of the State of California, County of Los Angeles-Central District. The lawsuit claims that Faraday Future contacted The Mill Group about developing a graphic presentation, with virtual reality, augmented reality, and holographic components for its January 2017 launch of farday's FF91, but failed to pay the company $1,822,750 owed for the presentation. In its complaint, The Mill Group did not say if that presentation was the same one given this month at CES to launch the FF91, but the description matches Faraday Future's splashy launch event at CES earlier this month.
