Crowdstrike Gets More Unwelcome Attention In Ukraine Scandal
Crowdstrike, the cybersecurity software developer which was founded in Orange County, which recently had its IPO, is getting some unwelcome attention today after the company's name came up in a transcript of calls involving Ukraine and the President of the United States. Crowdstrike--which has a offices in Irvine--had its IPO in June, and had been hired by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) to investigate hacking into the party's servers back in 2016. Crowdstrike was at the center of an investigation into Russia hacking of the DNC servers during the 2016 elections. Crowdstrike provides its cybersecurity software and services to the enterprise market, and its customers include such companies as Goldman Sachs, ADP, Credit Suisse, Telstra, Sony, Hyatt, and many other Fortune 50 companies.
