CONNECT CEO Passes Away From Bicycling Injuries
One of the leaders of Southern California's most influential technology organizations, CONNECT, has passed away after suffering injuries in a bicycling accident. Duane Roth, the well known leader of San Diego's CONNECT, died Saturday of injuries he suffered in a bicycling accident on July 21st. Roth had been in a medically induced coma since suffering a fall as part of a charity bicycling ride. Roth also had been Vice Chairman of the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine, and had been co-founder of Alliance Pharmaceutical Corp. CONNECT is one of the largest groups in the San Diego area helping the local technology and biotech industry.
