AT&T Backs LA Nonprofit's Hurricane Irma Relief Efforts
AT&T, which has been ramping its corporate presence in the Los Angeles area, says it is donating $1M to a Los Angeles nonprofit, Team Rubicon, to help with Hurricane Irma relief efforts. Team Rubicon connects military veterans with first responders to rapidly deploy emergency response team. AT&T said it would match donations, dollar for dollar, up to $1 million to Team Rubicon. The company said users can donate $10 by texting RUBICON to 80077. Team Rubicon has also been helping with Hurricane Harvey recovery efforts.
