Zumbox Ties With Bill Printing Software Firm
Westlake Village-based Zumbox, the online postal mail startup headed by John Payne, said this morning that it has partnered with Crawford Technologies, a provider of software used by companies to print large quantity of bills. According to Zumbox, they have linked to make it easy for print service providers and large mailers to provide digital delivery via Zumbox. Zumbox maintains a service which lets users pull up their mail, based on their postal address. The firm is hoping to attract governments, companies, and others looking to electronically deliver bills and other mail to users. CrawfordTech serves government agencies, banks, insurance firms, telecommunications, utility, and others with its software. The firm is now John Payne, the former Chairman and CEO of Stamps.com. Zumbox had initially focused on bulk mailers, but is now focused on providers of billing services.
