Zaniac Launches After School, Minecraft Programs In Santa Monica
Can playing Minecraft help your kids learn STEM techniques? Zaniac, the operator of an after-school, education program which uses Minecraft and robotics to teach Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) to kids, said this week that it has opened up a location in Santa Monica--the first in a major expansion into Los Angeles. The franchised company, which has locations in Utah, Texas, Florida, New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts, said it plans to open up an additional 10 more locations in the Los Angeles area in the next few years. The company's learning centers are geared towards the K-8 crowd, and feature computer programming, Minecraft, Lego Robotics, and other tech-heavy activities for children.
