Irvine-based YouMail, a provider of voicemail services, announced yesterday that its service is now free on Sprint, after Sprint removed a fee charging users 20 cents per minute for conditional call forwarding. YouMail offers a custom voicemail service which includes such features as ties into BlackBerry and Android phones, ability to share and forward voicemails in email, and voice transcription. The firm's voicemail service also offers such things as personalized greetings depending on who is calling, and the ability to buy celebrity and other greetings for your voice mailbox. YouMail is venture backed by Vantage Point Venture Partners and the Tech Coast Angels.
