YouMail Launches New Business Service As It Hits 4M Users
YouMail, the enhanced voicemail service provider headed by Alex Quilici, has launched a brand new, business oriented premium service, as it reports it also has just passed four million registered users. The firm said its new, business focused service, YouMail - Business Edition will offer up such services as smart business greetings, an enhanced mailbox for voicemails, voicmail-to-email forwarding, along with other business-focused features, all free of advertising.
YouMail said the expansion comes as it has begun seeing a "big chunk" of its user base actually using the company's service as a business productivity tool; the firm had originally launched geared towards consumers looking for a better voicemail service and features like personalized voicemail greetings. The firm's new business service also included optional, enhanced service such as voice-to-text translation as an add-on. The new premium service costs $6.99 a month per user, although the firm said it would be offering a $4.99 launch price.
As part of the launch, YouMail said it just topped 4 million users; the firm said it added about one million users in just the past six months. The company is backed by VantagePoint Capital Partners, the Tech Coast Angels, the Tech Coast Angels ACE Fund, Siemer Ventures, and the CrunchFund.
