Wyle Labs Acquires General Dynamics Aeronautics Business
El Segundo-based Wyle Laboratories announced yesterday that it has acquired the Aeronautics Services business of General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics Corp. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. General Dynamics Aeronautics Service business employs approximately 1600 people and generates revenues of over $220M annually through U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force business. The acquisition will grow Whyle to more than 3000 employees and annual revenues of approximately $450M. Wyle provides testing, research, and engineering services to commercial, industrial, and government customers.
