Warner Buys Independent Game Developer
Burbank-based Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group announced late Wednesday evening that it has acquired an independent game development studio, Snowblind Studios. Snowblind is the developer of game titles Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, Champions of Norrath, and Justice League Heroes. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. According to Warner Bros., the acquisition of the action and fantasy-based games developer will broaden its portfolio. Snowblind is based in Seattle, and has over 70 employees.
