Virtium Launches New Solid State Drives
Rancho Santa Margarita-based solid state disk drive manufacturer Virtium said today that it has launched a new line of industrial, SSD hard drives. Virtium said its new, StorFly XE Class SSDs are aimed at industrial system designers, and use multi-level cell (iMLC) technology, and can handle industrial temperatures of between -40C to 85C. The new dries range from 30Gb to 480GB, and support M.2, CFast, Mini Card, mSATA, SlimSATA, as well as 1.8" and 2.5" form factors. Pricing on the drives were not announced by the company.
