USC Stevens Hires Licensing Director
The University of Southern California's Stevens Institute, the new technology commercialization center funded by Sequoia Capital venture capitalist and USC alumni Mark Stevens, has hired a director of licensing. The school has hired Joseph Koepnick, from Stanford University, to the position. Koepnick was formerly CEO of Staccato Systems, and has served as a licensing associate at Stanford's office of technology licensing. Koepnick is the latest hire for the new center, which is looking to facilitate licensing of technology from USC's faculty and students out to industry.
