TowerJazz Wins Phasor Solutions

Newport Beach-based TowerJazz, the semiconductor foundry which was Jazz Semiconductor, said today that it has been selected by Phasor Solutions, a developer of phased array antennas for the satellite communications and radar market. TowerJazz said that it has been selected for its high performance, SiGe BiCMOS process, to manufacture Phasor's transceiver chipset. Financial impact or estimated volumes from the win was not disclosed. TowerJazz said Phasor will use its SBC18HX process, a 0.18-micron SiGe Bipolar combined with 0.18-micron CMOS process.
