Ticketmaster Ties With iTunes
West Hollywood-based Ticketmaster said Wednesday morning that it will begin featuring digital album sales from Apple's popular iTunes Store alongside its concert tickets. Ticketmaster said that it will feature and promote albums from more than 700 of the musical acts which have tickets for sale via the company, offering people who purchase tickets to live performances with the option to buy a digital album at the same time. The deal is an expansion of earlier trials by the firms to offer albums alongside specific concerts. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Ticketmaster is an operating business of IAC.
