Teledyne In Space Imaging Deal

Thousand Oaks-based Teledyne Technologies said Thursday that its subsidiary, Teledyne Brown Engineering, has reached an agreement with NASA on a space-based, digital imaging project. Teledyne said that the Cooperative Agreement was awarded by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), to provide commercial companies with a way to collect earth images on the International Space Station. Teledyne did not say how much the contract was worth. Teledyne Brown will develop, fabricate, test, and qualify the Multi-User System for Earth Sensing (MUSES) system for NASA for launch in early 2015.
