Tagnos Finds Funding From Cisco
Aliso Viejo-based Tagnos, a developer of clinical logistics automation software for the hospital and clinic market, announced on Thursday that it has received a funding from Cisco Investments. Size of the investment was not announced. Tagnos said the funding came through the the Cisco Webex Innovation Fund. The funding comes on top of an earlier, Series A funding from Benhamou Global Ventures, Morpheus Ventures and Zebra Ventures, which was worth $5M. Tagnos, led by Neeraj Bhavani, develops a logistics automation product which revolves around using radio identification tags to track patients in a hospital, so that the hospital can better manage hospital workflow.
