Super League Gaming, Topgolf Team On Esports Events
Santa Monica-based Super League Gaming, which organizes community esports events at theaters and other locations, has partnered with sports entertainment venue company Topgolf, where Topgolf will host amateur e-sports events and competitions. According to the two companies, Topgolf's venues will run mobile and console competitions in the partnership with Super League Gaming, starting with Super League's "Clash Nights". Financial details of the deal were not announced. The companies said the program will start in February with the Super League Gaming event series, Super League Clash Nights, based on the popular Clash Royale mobile game. The companies said the Topgolf venues will be holding both mobile and console esports events, including both single location events as well as competitions between locations and as part of local, regional, and national amateur leagues.
