Sugar Scores $2.5M For Apartment, Community Software
Los Angeles-based Sugar, which develops software to help manage apartment and residential living, has raised $2.5M in a seed funding round, according to the company. The funding included MetaProp, Agya Ventures, Concrete Rose, Debut Capital, The Community Fund, Consonance Capital, Lightspeed Scout Fund, and Jason Calacanis' LAUNCH syndicate, along with angels Wasserstrum and Diran Otegbade, Oleksiy Ignatyev, Claire Cormier Thielke, and Ben Zises. The company develops software for residential communities, handling rent payment and other tasks. The company is led by foudner and CEO Fatima Dicko.
