StorCase Taps Zetera
StoreCase, a developer of storage enclosures, has tapped Irvine-based startup Zetera to provide IP storage solutions using Zetera's IP-based storage technology. StorCase said that it would target small and mid-sized businesses with a new IP-based storage at considerable costs savings over similar SAN and NAS installations. The Zetera technology will be used to provide striping and mirroring of data and spanning of logical drives. The companies aid taht the systems will ship in Q2 of this year, with capacities of up to six terabytes. StorCase is the former Kingston Storage Product Division.
