StartEngine To Get Own Reality Show
Los Angeles-based StartEngine, the startup accelerator headed by Activision co-founder Howard Marks, and Paul Kessler, is announcing today that it has partnered with the producers of reality series TECHSTARS to develop a show around startups going through Start Engine's accelerator program. TECHSTARS is the Bloomberg TV series which features companies going through the TechStars accelerator. According to Start Engine, producer Cameron Casey will Los Angeles-based tech entrepreneurs in the Start Engine program through the process of building their companies, and is being planned as a multi-season series produced for a network, airing sometime in early 2012. Name of that network was not announced. StartEngine was launched by Marks and Kessler in November.
