SpaceX Launches U.S. Military Payload, Successfully Lands Rocket
Hawthorne-based SpaceX has delivered another payload into space, this time, a secretive mission for the U.S. military. SpaceX launched the NROL-76 this morning a little after 7:00 a.m. EDT, delivering the NROL-76 to orbit from Complex 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center. SpaceX also successfully landed the first stage of the Falcon 9 rocket, this time on land, also in Florida at Landing Zone 1 (LZ-1) at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
