SpaceX Employee, Healthcare Contractor Both Test Positive For COVID-19
An employee of Hawthorne-based SpaceX, as well as an on-site health care provider at the SpaceX headquarters, have tested positive for COVID-19, sending a number of employees into quarantine, according to a report from CNBC. Accordnig to CNBC, SpaceX is asking the employees it sent home to remain in quarantine for 14 days. The on-site health care provider, One Medical, reportedly is asking all of its healthcare providers showing symptoms to stay home and get tested immediately. The development comes as SpaceX announced a delay of a March 30th launch of a satellite on the request of the Argentine space agency, also due to the virus.
