Sotera Wireless Raises $12.2M
San Diego-based Sotera Wireless, a developer of wireless vital signs management products has raised $12.2M in a Series D funding. The firm said the round included new investor Cerner Capital, and also included Sanderling Ventures, Qualcomm Ventures, Intel Capital and West Health Investment Fund, all existing investors. The investment deal also includes a commercial agreement with Cerner. Sotera Wireless develops a wireless, patient safety monitoring system, which is currently in review with the U.S. FDA.
