Snap Planning New Spectacles

Venice, California-based Snap apparently is planning a new line of its Spectacles, based on recent documents filed with the FCC--and uncovered by Variety. According to the filings, Snap recently published an application with the FCC for a new "wearable video camera" with support for the 802.11ac WiFi standard. Snap's original spectacles, which are still available, let users take pictures from the special sunglasses and auto-post them to Snapchat.
