SGN Raises $130M From Netmarble Games
Los Angeles-based mobile games studio SGN, which is led by former MySpace founder Chris DeWolfe, has raised $130M in a funding round from Netmarble Games. SGN said that Netmarble Games is the number one mobile games publisher in South Korea. SGN said it will use the investment to expand its market presence in Asia, including making game studio acquisitions, and also working with Netmarble Games to help bring the firm's titles to the Western market.
