Sequoia Communications Finds $25M
San Diego-based Sequoia Communications has raised a $25M round of funding, the firm said Tuesday. The Series E round of funding was led by BlueRun Ventures, the venture capital arm of Nokia Corp., and also included participation by Tallwood Venture Capital and Motorola. Sequoia Communications is developing RF semiconductors that are multi-modal, and can support HSDPA/WEDGE and other radio protocols on a single chip. The firm said it will use the funding to take its SEQ5400 chip into full volume production. More information »
