Semtech Joins Low Power Wireless Initiative
Camarillo-based Semtech, a manufacturer of analog and mixed-signal semiconductors, announced Wednesday that the firm is supporting the new ONE-NET development community for low-power wireless devices. Semtech said that its technology and expertise have controibuted to the development of the new standard, which is targeted at providing low-power wireless connectivity for residential and small business applications. Other members of the initiative include Analog Devices, Texas Instruments, RF Monolithics, Renasas, and Threshold Corporation.
