Roga Launches Wearable For Stress Reduction
Los Angeles-based startup Roga said this morning that it has launched a new wearable that it says helps "combat stress and burnout". The company says its device uses "electrical brain stimulation" via wired headphones which plug into a user's phone, and is paired with an app that provides stress-relieving video content. The company's founders are Dr. Alison Smith and Ami Lebendiker. The company says its devices use non-invasive brain stimulation (NIBS); the company does not appear to have any FDA approvals on its devices and says on its website that "the system is not intended to treat or cure any medical conditions".
