Ring Pilots Program To Let Government Agencies To Send Alerts To Users
Santa Monica-based Ring, the connected doorbell and camera company which is now part of Amazon, said on Tuesday that it will start allowing local government agencies to send information to users. According to the company, it is piloting a way that local government agencies around the U.S. can send messages to users on Ring's Neighbors service. The initial agencies participating in the program are the City of North Port, Florida; Pinellas County (Florida) Government; and City of Fulton, New York.
