RFaxis Switches To IBM
Irvine-based RFaxis, a developer of wireless semiconductors, announced Tuesday that it has switched to IBM Microelectronics for its fully integrated, single-chip, single-die RF front end integrated circuits. The firm said it is using IBM's BiCMOS process in Burlington, Vermont. RFaxis was previously using STMicro for the firm's fab. RFaxis is developing wireless front ends for Bluetooth, WLAN, Zigbee, WiMAX, and mobile phone markets.
