Report: More Than 50,000 Snapchat Users Phished
The identities and credentials for more than 50,000 Snapchat users have been stolen and posted to the Internet, after a massive phishing attack on Snapchat's users, according to a report. According to the Verge, a phishing attempt by a phishing site convinced over 50,000 of Snapchat's users to enter their login information to a third party, phishing website, which--like all phishing websites--convinced users they were entering their username and password into the official Snapchat website, when they really were entering their site into a false website hosted in the Dominica Republic.
