Radicle Growth, Syngenta Dangle $1.25M In Investments To Startups
San Diego-based Radicle Growth, a venture acceleration fund focused on agtech and food startups, and seed giant Syngenta announced this morning that they have launched a new effort to invest $1.25M in startups. According to the two, they will work together to identify two companies with "novel solutions to support the future of protein", where it will invest $1.25M between the two companies. The companies said those companies "could include new or experimental protein sources, or protein conversion technologies" and which specifically could solve challenges spanning planted-based agriculture to the regenerative agriculture. The investments would be $1M for the winner of their challenge, and $250K for the runner up. Radicle Growth and Syngenta said applications are open through May 29th.
