Radical.FM Spins New Android App
Venice-based music service Radical.FM has rolled out a brand new Android app, saying Wednesday that the new app is commercial free, and has a catalog of 25 million songs. The company already hsa an iOS app which was released last year. Radical.FM says it compensates artists, composers, and labels for all the music streamed on the site using a "pay what you can" donation model. The startup is led by Tom McAlvey. The service heavily revolves around custom, human-curated playlists and channels.
