QLogic Swaps Out CEO
Aliso Viejo-based storage networking products maker QLogic is in a major, executive shakeup this morning, saying that its CEO, Prasad Rampalli, has resigned. According to QLogic, it has named Christine King as Executive Chairman, and Jean Hu as Acting CEO of the company. King has been a member of QLogic's board since 2013, and was previously CEO of Standard Microsystems Corporation and AMI Semiconductor. Hu has been SVP and CFO of QLogic since 2011. The company said that Hu will continue to act as CFO while serving a acting CEO. QLogic said Rampalli has left to "pursue other opportunities".
