Predixion Software Raises $800K
Aliso Viejo-based Predixion Software, a new startup headed by Simon Arkell, has raised $800,000 as part of an ongoing $3.0M funding round, according to a regulatory filing from the firm this week. No details on the funding have been announced. Predixion--which is still in stealth mode--is developing software around predictive, behavioral analytics and data mining. The firm said its founders include Arkell, Steve DeSantis, and Jamie MacLennan, with a board seat held by former DATAllegro CEO Stuart Frost. Predixion's web site says that its technology is based on work developed by MacLennan while working at Microsoft and its SQL Server Data Mining product. More information »
