Phyn Rolls Out New Water Sensor
Los Angeles-based Phyn, which develops high tech devices to help homeowners monitor water usage in their home, said it launched a brand new product. According to the company, it has rolled out the Phyn Smart Water Sensor, a compact battery powered device that provides homeowners with extra security against water damage, along with the Phyn Water Sensor Extension Node and the Phyn Water Sensor Cable. The company said the devices connect to its existing product, the Phyn Plus, to automatically active its valve shut-off feature. The company said the new device is aimed at detection of leaks in high risk areas, such as washing machines, leaking refrigerators, water heaters, or sump pumps, flooded basements. The Phyn Smart Water Sensor has an MSRP of $39.99, with the Extension Node at $9.99 and Sensor Cable at $25.99.
