PatientPop Ties Into Google Scheduling
Santa Monica-based PatientPop, which develops practice management software for medical providers, said on Monday that it has tied directly into Google, allowing for online appointment scheduling for practices through Google. PatientPop says its software now supports Google's "Make Appointment" link, which shows up in searches for healthcare providers through the search engine--all without the patient ever visiting a healthcare provider's website. PatientPop said it is the first healthcare technology provider to link into the Google feature. PatientPop is venture backed by Toba Capital, athenahealth, and Silicon Valley Bank.
