Ordermark, Uber Eats In Partnership, Technology Integration Deal
Los Angeles-based Ordermark, the restaurant software and services developer spawned out of LA's iconic Canter's Deli, has inked a technology and technology integration deal with Uber Eats, Uber's food delivery service, the two said on wednesday. According to the two, the partnership and technology integration will push Uber Eats orders to the Ordermark Dashboard, making it easier for restaurants to use Uber Eats and manage off-premise orders. In addition, the two said that Ordermark restaurant and virtual kitchen clients who sign up for Uber Eats can get their initial set-up fees waived, and receive a discounted rate. Financial details of the deal were not announced. Ordermark is led by Alex Canter, whose family has long run LA's Canter's Deli. Canter founded Ordermark after his experience trying to manage the surge of online orders at Canter's. Ordermark says it now has thousands of customers, ranging from small, single-location restaurants to restaurant chains like Buffalo Wild Wings, Papa John's, Popeyes, Which Wich, and Yogurtland.
